PadPlay
Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
Overview
PadPlay (bundle identifier com.padplay.app) is a local-first landscape drum pad for iPhone and iPad. It does not require an account, does not use advertising identifiers for ads, and is designed so that core pad and transport features work entirely on your device.
What we collect
The app does not collect personal information for an account or profile. There is no sign-up and no login.
We do not sell your personal data. In this build, the app does not operate a cloud backend that receives your taps, audio, or preferences.
For App Store Connect App Privacy, this product is declared as Data Not Collected for the current release.
Audio
Drum samples and sequencing stay on your device. Playback uses the system audio session. The app does not record or upload microphone audio in this build.
Permissions
This App Store build does not request Photo Library, Camera, Microphone, Location, or Tracking permissions for its core demo path. Device volume must be unmuted to hear samples.
If a future version requests additional permissions, this policy will be updated and the in-app prompt will state the purpose.
Analytics and third parties
This build does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. System-level diagnostics that Apple may collect when you opt in (for example via App Store / iOS analytics) are governed by Apple’s policies, not by PadPlay servers.
Purchases
If you buy anything through the App Store, payment is processed by Apple. PadPlay does not receive your payment card details. The current release does not include in-app purchases.
Children
PadPlay is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data retention and deletion
Because pad preferences stay on your device, uninstalling the app removes that local data. There is no cloud account for us to delete on a server for this build.
Changes
We may update this policy when the product changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
