PadPlay
Support
PadPlay is a landscape-only drum pad for iPhone and iPad: tap a 4×4 grid, adjust knobs, and use the transport with built-in samples.
Getting started
- Open PadPlay (the interface is designed for landscape).
- Look at the left controls (knobs / buttons / transport) and the right 4×4 pad grid.
- Tap pads to play samples; turn Volume / Reverb (and other) knobs to hear changes.
- Optionally use metronome, hold-repeat, or record / play / loop on the transport.
- Use 中 / EN in the UI if present to switch language.
Account
No account or login is required.
Permissions
No Photo Library, Microphone, Camera, Location, or Tracking prompts are required for the core path in this version. Unmute device volume to hear sound.
Troubleshooting
- No sound: check the Mute switch / Control Center volume, and raise the in-app Volume knob.
- UI looks cropped: rotate to landscape; PadPlay is landscape-first.
- Force-quit and reopen the app, or restart the device if pads stop responding.
- Update to the latest iOS / iPadOS when possible.
Out of scope in this version
External MIDI host pairing, cloud sync, accounts, and in-app purchases are not part of the current App Store build.
